Jean and Dick Fischer, the owners of Penguin Cove Stained Glass, Inc. since 1990,  take great pride creating and designing original works of stained glass art, whether for individuals in private homes, local shops or galleries. We can repair and restore your cherished heirlooms.

Through the years, Penguin Cove Stained Glass, Inc. has participated in classroom demonstrations on career days in local public schools, to help inspire young children. We offer a free demonstration in our studio twice a week to prospective students who always admired stained glass, but have no idea about the process. They can see all the happy students working on projects, and make the decision to join in.

Through the years, many professors at Barry University including the Dean of Arts and Science, took lessons at Penguin Cove Stained Glass, Inc. and were so impressed, they were inspired to create a Stained Glass course in their Fine Arts Department. It was a three credit course for beginners which became so popular we had to add two more courses for intermediate and advanced students.

Through the years, Penguin Cove Stained Glass, Inc. has taken pride in the great efforts of all our students who entered their stained glass work through the years in the Dade County Fair in Miami . Year after year our students consistently did an outstanding job with their projects, and came away with no less that three to four of the top five prizes every year for six years. It is a shame the fair has discontinued the category of Stained Glass.
